Day Crèche Section

 


Target Group

Infants and toddlers aged from 0-2 years old (the minimum age for admission is six-week-old).

Patterns of Activity

Through the experience of sensory exploration, children improve their visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular balance, joint movement, taste and smell.  What’s more, they build analytical, comprehension, and learning abilities and enhance brain development.

Centre's environmental design and teaching materials will regularly be changed to suit the needs of children's life experience, sense of security, to enhance their initiative of participation.

The Montessori pedagogical philosophy is adopted to build children’s ability in self-care and care for the environment.

Target Group

Children aged from 2-6 years old.

Patterns of Activity

Whole-language approach is applied for building ability of children to listen, speak, read and write through the Chinese and English story books to develop children's reading abilities, interests and habits.

With the Montessori pedagogical philosophy, children can be built in their independence in living.  Integrating whole-person development: Physical coordination, intellectual development, nurturing emotions, emphasizing aesthetics, prosocial skill, harmonious relations with other people and nature.

Occasional Child Care Service

Mission

Our school provides hourly basis and full day occasional child care services to prevent children left unattended at home while parents have other engagement(eg, caregivers are sick, seeking medical consultation, visiting the hospitals, before and after childbirth, etc.).

Target Group

Children between 3 and 6 years old, healthy and certified by a doctor to be suitable for nursery schooling.

Patterns of Activity

Play, art and music activities, stories, daily living care such as eating, napping, etc.

Extended Hour Service

 


Mission

To support parents in need of a longer time period of child care services.

Target Group

Extended Hour Service for young children aged between 0 and 6 years old.

Time Slot for Extended Hour Service

Mon-Fri: 7:30-8:00 a.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Sat: 7:30-8:00 a.m. and 1:00-5:00 p.m.

(Closed on school and public holidays.)

Art activities, stories, toys, games, homework, etc.

Mission

Provide on-site early intervention for children aged 2-6 with special needs through assessment training, family and school support.  To enhance the learning and development of these children through supporting their carers and schools.

Target Group

Children attending our school and:

  1. Approved by the Child Assessment Center and referred to the school for pre-school rehabilitation services.
  2. Children who are on the waiting list for Training Subsidy for Children who were on the Waiting List of Subvented Pre-school Rehabilitation Services (TSP) or Early Education and Training Centre (EETC).
  3. In addition, we will extend the service to children who are awaiting assessment by the Child Assessment Centre (CAC), based on the actual supply and demand of the service.

Disciplinary Team

Educational Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Senior Special Early Childhood Practitioner, Special Early Childhood Practitioner.
